Pasta di Gamberetti Piccanti

Ingredients
3 medium mushroom(s), cut into large quarters
8 oz cooked whole-wheat spaghetti
1/2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp canola oil
2 tsp olive oil
2 small tomato(es), cut into large pieces, approx. 8 pieces
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp cilantro
1/8 cup fat-free skim milk
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
10 medium shrimp

Instructions
1. Cook the spaghetti. Drain when finished.
2. While the spaghetti is cooking de-shell the shrimp and prep the other ingredients.
3. When the spaghetti is nearly finished, over medium heat, cook shrimp till they turn pink and white. Only takes a few seconds on each side.
4. Add mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, basil, cilantro, oregano, canola oil, olive oil, cayenne pepper, and milk.
5. Continue to cook and stir ingredients over medium heat till tomatoes and mushrooms are thoroughly cooked and the liquid has started to boil. Shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. Veggies shouldn’t be to mooshy.
6. Put 1 serving of spaghetti (4 oz) in a pasta dish. Spoon half the shrimp veggie mixture over the spaghetti. Include half the sauce from the mixture.
7. Add salt and pepper as needed.

Bend is/was a text editor for Windows that used .Net 4 to render hardware accelerated text files with syntax highlighting in certain kinds of text files.

The only problem? I suddenly disappeared from codeplex. To keep this cool little editor alive, I’m providing a link to a portable version of Bend. The only requirement is that .Net 4 is installed. It will run on Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

Contentment:: The experience of satisfaction and being at ease in one’s situation.

Complacency:: A feeling of contentment coupled with unconcern for the troubled situation you are in.

Each of us needs to discover the difference between Contentment and Complacency. When you discover that, you can be happy where God has put you and still know that God has designs for your life and is taking you somewhere.

I strive to be content with where God has lead me in my life, but not let that contentment turn into laziness and complacency. However, I can’t always say I’m the most successful. Either way, God will shake you out of your complacency one way or another.

The best way I’ve found to deal with this is to try and always be open to the direction he is giving you and trust that He knows best.

On Wednesday evening my Dad died and went to be with his Maker

He was born in 1942 and just celebrated his 67th birthday. He has had many health problems for more than 20 years, but he always put the best face to the situation. He loved people and he love the Lord with all his heart. His greatest desire was that everyone knew the Lord that he served.

On Friday evening at around 8pm, Gary Lee Burdette, the man I lovingly call Dad, passed away. He is now with his Father in Heaven and is watching over each of us. For him there is no Imagining anymore. He can once again dance and run in the streets without the pain that he has lived with for almost all of my life.
Dad, I love you with all my heart and, don’t worry, it won’t seem like long till we are together again in Heaven.

Please pray for us as we fight this sorrow that so fills us.

They’re slowly bringing his body temp up to normal. At 36C they will do a CT scan to see if there is brain function.
