I know, it’s kind of a sarcastic title isn’t it? If you know me, you know I love kitties! I don’t know why I’ve become so obsesed with them lately. But I can’t help it! They’re all just so adorable and cuddly!

For me, the most enjoyable moments are those at home on the couch or in the recliner, reading a book with a kitty in my lap. Unconditional love. What more could you ask for?!

Today I visited my sister at Purrfect Pals. I showed up at 10:30 and left after 5. What a LONG day! Each time I go down there I’m reminded of just how dedicated my sister is. It’s amazing!

This Saturday I got to do a lot more hands-on tasks than in the past. I started out cleaning two seperate rooms with cat cages in them. Cleaning the kennels was pretty uneventful, no one attacked me or got loose. But man, was it hot!

After cleaning I headed back to the clinic room to help Brittany with whatever she needed. Lucky for me she was preoccupied so she left me in charge of bottle feeding a totally adorable little kitten named Theta. Here’s some pictures I snapped…

3 syringes of formula later, she was ready for bed. So, after tucking Theta into her kennel I headed to the LeukiLand. The land of the Leukemia kitties.

These cats and kittens are so sweet. They are just begging to be loved, but sadly, most of them will live out their lives at the shelter. If you’ve read my other cat posts, you know these guys hold a special place in my heart.

Growing up I had a cat named Tigger. At some point in his golden years he contracted FIV (feline AIDS). Feline Leukemia and FIV are both fatal diseases. It takes a very special person to adopt and care for a terminally ill animal. And at this point there just aren’t enough of those special people out there.

Check out some of the cuties in LeukiLand
